Mr Patrick Grover is a consultant neurosurgeon at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN). He specializes in Skull Base and Vascular Neurosurgery, with expertise in managing conditions such as Vestibular Schwannomas and Meningiomas, as well as Cerebral Aneurysms, AVMs, and Cavernomas. He also practices Gamma Knife radiosurgery for minimally invasive treatment of these conditions.
Mr Neil Kitchen is a consultant neurosurgeon specializing in neuro-oncology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN). He serves as the medical director at Queen Square Gamma Knife Radiosurgery Centre and is a medical advisor to Cavernoma Alliance UK. Mr Kitchen has extensive experience in managing various conditions, including cavernoma, trigeminal neuralgia, and brain and central nervous system cancers.
Mr Matthias Radatz is a consultant neurosurgeon at Sheffield Teaching NHS Hospital and the medical director of Thornbury Radiosurgery Centre. With extensive expertise in treating cavernoma, brain and pituitary tumours, glioblastoma, arteriovenous malformations, meningioma, and metastasis, Mr. Radatz is a leading practitioner of Gamma Knife stereotactic neurosurgery, addressing cranial and extra-cranial CNS lesions.
Rustam Al-Shahi Salman is a clinical neurologist in NHS Lothian, and a professor of clinical neurology at The University of Edinburgh. He also serves as the clinical director of the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit and the UK Network of registered Clinical Trials Units.
He has conducted patient-centred research into cerebral cavernous malformations (CCM) for more than 25 years. This has recently culminated in the CARE pilot trial, conducted in partnership with Cavernoma Alliance UK, for which he is a patron and medical advisor. Now, he is planning and seeking interest in an international definitive main phase randomised controlled trial of stereotactic radiosurgery for CCM.
