Dr Michael Kosmin
Dr Michael Kosmin is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. With an academic foundation in medicine from the University of Cambridge and University College London, Dr Kosmin further honed his expertise through core medical training and specialized Clinical Oncology training in the north London region.

Over the years, he has emerged as a leading authority in the treatment of central nervous system (CNS) tumours, with a particular focus on innovative approaches in radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
Dr Kosmin has developed significant expertise in the application of advanced radiotherapy techniques, including stereotactic radiotherapy and proton beam therapy. His commitment to advancing cancer treatment extends beyond clinical practice; as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the UCL Cancer Institute, Dr Kosmin is at the forefront of cutting-edge research. He leads several pioneering research projects, many of which have secured competitive funding, aimed at enhancing the precision and efficacy of radiotherapy for brain tumours.
In addition to his research and clinical responsibilities, Dr Kosmin plays a pivotal role in medical education. He serves as the Royal College of Radiologists’ College Tutor and is the local postgraduate medical education lead for clinical oncology at UCLH.
