About Amethyst Radiotherapy:
Amethyst UK is the trading name of Medical Equipment Solutions Ltd and its subsidiaries QSRC Ltd and Thornbury Radiosurgery Centre Ltd.
The Queen Square Radiosurgery Centre provides a Gamma Knife radiosurgery service for NHS (National Health Service) and private patients treating brain tumours and other intracranial indications. We are one of two NHS England (NHSE) National Centres of Excellence who provide specialist care and support for patients including those with rare and complex conditions. The Centre enjoys a significant number of strengths from the well established integration with other areas of expertise within the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) and is located at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, the UK’s largest dedicated neurological and neurosurgical hospital.
The Thornbury Radiosurgery Centre Limited runs a Gamma Knife service and is a nominated sub-contractor of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust and is situated within BMI Thornbury Hospital. The department offers Gamma Knife treatment to NHS and private patients from the UK and abroad. The Gamma Knife department has developed new pathways, relating to Tier 1 (Cerebral Metastases) & Tier 2 (Benign Tumours) with Sheffield Teaching Hospital since the award of the contract. The centre is nationally recognised for delivering outstanding patient care and the Gamma Knife team have built strong working relationships in the area, prioritising the individual needs of the patient.
About The Role:
This position will be a key supportive role to the Director of Strategic Clinical Engagement and Business Development for Amethyst UK and to assist and develop marketing activities undertaken both online and offline.
As a Marketing Executive your responsibilities will include strategic and tactical execution of creative and engaging marketing campaigns, executing marketing strategies, planning marketing events, developing an online presence and content writing for websites and campaigns.
You will be expected to deliver any activity on time, in-line with agreed budgets and ensure they deliver a return on investment as directed by the Director of Strategic Clinical Engagement and Business Development.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Working on all core marketing disciplines including web-based content, content marketing, copywriting, print, multi-media, digital, social media, direct marketing, promotional marketing, project and supplier management, and marketing planning to deliver engaging campaigns.
- Design and production of digital posts, flyers, posters, direct mailers, and online materials such as brochures, presentations, emails, infographics, videos, and newsletters.
- Collaborating on the concept, development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, product concepts and promotional programmes driving interest and sales.
- Ensuring distribution of internal and external marketing materials and communications.
- Understanding and maintaining the corporate brand in all marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Taking ownership of and evaluate marketing campaigns, advertising, and optimisation metrics to ensure campaigns are effective – reacting quickly and revising campaigns where needed to ensure that trends are acted upon to maximise ROI.
- Conducting market research, including the creation, sourcing and utilisation of key focus groups and questionnaires.
- Developing relationships with and working alongside suppliers, and contractors to effectively promote sales or brand awareness through bespoke marketing campaigns.
- Representing the marketing team at promotional events.
- Designing and executing social media and online activity, writing creative copy, content strategy and implementation.
- The maintenance and upkeep of websites to enhance the user experience.
- Assisting the planning and executing website search engine optimisation (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), email, social media, and pay per click (PPC) advertising campaigns.
- Analysing and utilising Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases for marketing campaigns, reporting and increasing customer retention.
- Continuously seeking new or expanded revenue opportunities.
- To colaborate with Clinical Booking Teams for all Private and International patient enquiries.
- To optimise the Consultant profiles on our Top Doctor and Doctify interfaces and others, when necessary
To provide support and assistance with the organisation of Amethyst UK webinars for medical professionals. To include, but not limited to, the management of invitations, the Vimeo and Dimeo video platform and other related activities including the issuing of CPD certification. - To ensure the safe and secure management of data and information for QSRC and TRCL is essential as well as ensuring that each centre complies with the Data Protection Act (2018) and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) (2018) with regard to the patient, user, employee, employer and wider organisational data/information processing.
